| Who is the Course for? The final level of the Comprehensive Diploma in Auricular Acupuncture is designed for practitioners who have completed The Auricular Acupuncture Practitioners Certificate course and wish to set up in private practice. This stage of the training uses Electro-Acupunctoscopes as an alternative method of treatment to using needles. This course looks in more detail at the pathology of the ear and how it can be used as a diagnostic tool. On the practical side you are taught how to treat acupuncture points using an acupunctoscope alongside needles. On completion of the Comprehensive Diploma, individuals register as members of The Society of Auricular Acupuncturists at the beginning of each year. As a registered member you will be eligible for all the benefits of membership and entitled to use the designation MSAAc. Entry Requirements Minimum 18 yrs of age Foreign Students are required to have functional use of English to at least IELTS Band Score 7 Resources Available Pre-Course reading notes are given to each student prior to the course commencing. There is an Acupuncture text book and College folder given to each student to study and refer to throughout the course. Electro-acupunctoscopes with full instruction, as used in clinical practice. Methods of Assessment and Accreditation Throughout the course the tutors continually help students with regular informal feedback. Students are required to complete a Reflective Practitioners Development logbook (treatments and case studies) and submit this prior to being awarded the Electro-Auricular Therapy Practitioners Certificate. Course Duration The duration of the Electro-Auricular Therapy Practitioners Certificate Course is five days.
