INTERMEDIATE PRACTITIONERS CERTIFICATE

An Introduction to the Course
Description:
This course is designed for individuals who
have completed Module I of our Diploma course and are Auricular
Acupuncture Detoxification Practitioners. It extends the theory
of Auricular Acupuncture from both the Western and Chinese Medicine
approaches.

On the practical side you are taught
to needle extra acupuncture points which will enable
practitioners to treat various chronic conditions and
complaints. Students are required to complete an Anatomy
and Physiology home study course in advance of the workshop.
It is the second stage of the Comprehensive Diploma
in Auricular Acupuncture.

Who is the Course for? (Entry Requirements)
Individuals who have completed Module I –
Auricular Acupuncture Detoxification Practitioners Certificate
and wish to further their knowledge and skills in Auricular
Acupuncture.

Anatomy and Physiology home study notes
and Auricular Acupuncture reading notes are given to
each student prior to the course commencing. There is
an auricular acupuncture folder given to each student
to study and refer to throughout the course. In addition
there are many auricular acupuncture textbooks available
in the College’s library to refer to. Rubber ears
are used as a practical training tool.

Methods of Assessment and Accreditation:

Throughout the course the tutors continually
help students with regular, informal feedback on both the practical
needling part of the course and the theory. All students are
awarded the Auricular Acupuncture Intermediate Practitioners
Certificate once they have passed the practical and theory assessments.
Course Duration:
The duration of the workshop course is four
days.

9th to 12th June 2008 - Chertsy,
Surrey.
