Auricular Electro-Acupuncture
Practitioners Certificate
An Introduction to the Course
Description
This course is designed for individuals who
have completed Modules I and II and is the final stage of the
Comprehensive Diploma of Auricular Acupuncture. It completes
Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine theory to include auricular
acupuncture’s interrelationship with body acupuncture.
On the practical side you are taught to treat acupuncture points
using electro-acupunctoscopes instead of needles.
Who is the Course for? (Entry Requirements)
Individuals who have completed Modules I and
II and wish to gain the Comprehensive Diploma in Auricular Acupuncture.
Once qualified you will be able to work in private practice
and gain the qualification of M.S.A.Ac. (Member of the Society
of Auricular Acupuncturists).
Resources Available
An acupuncture textbook and precourse reading
notes are given to each student prior to the course commencing.
There is a College folder given to each student to study and
refer to throughout the course. Electro-acupunctoscopes are
used in clinical practice. In addition there are many auricular
acupuncture textbooks available in the College’s library
to refer to.
Methods of Assessment and Accreditation

Throughout the course the tutors continually
help students with regular informal feedback. Students are required
to complete a Reflective Practitioners Development logbook (i.e.
case studies) and submit this prior to the Review/Evaluation
Day.

The duration of the workshop is five days
Review/Evaluation workshop is one day
